Todd Greenberg has been officially appointed as Cricket Australia’s (CA) Chief Executive Officer, the board announced on Tuesday (December 3). He will take over from the current CEO, Nick Hockley, who is set to step down at the end of the domestic season in March 2025. This announcement marks an important milestone for Australian cricket, as Greenberg brings vast experience from various roles in Australian sports, including his recent tenure as CEO of the Australian Cricketers’ Association.

Greenberg, who previously served as the CEO of the National Rugby League (NRL) and Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs, also holds a strong cricketing background. Having played first-grade cricket for Randwick and worked in cricket administration, Greenberg’s connection to the sport runs deep.
